How to quickly set up an auto response for your clients on Facebook

Social Media is one of the fastest, cheapest and most efficient way for your customer to reach you and for you to reach them. Be it a query, inquiry, complain or even compliment, your customer can reach you within a few seconds, from any corner of the world.

But, what if you’re not constantly available behind the screen to reach out to them?

Here is a quick fix to set up an auto response that does the job for you, in your absence.

Step 1

Think of an appropriate ‘one size fits all’ template for your auto response. Some of the best examples could be – “Thank you for your message, we will get back to you shortly; or lead them to an email address or even better watsapp contact, in order to speed up the process.

Step 2

Choose your business page that you would like to set up your auto response for, and select Settings on the top of your page.

Step 3 

Select the Messaging option in the left column of the settings, which leads you to the option Go to Automated Responses, below Response assistant.

Step 4

Turn on the Instant Reply option, and select the timing you would like the response to go through, followed by editing the response and customizing it as per your wish.
